2010 Blacktie Gala - 1st Annual Event

On Saturday, October 9, the Kingston High School Ahtletic Boosters will be putting on their FIRST ANNUAL Blacktie Gala to benefit the Booster Club, and spring forth a fund raising campaign to get bleachers for the football field and then, a scoreboard at the baseball fields. Time and location have yet to be determined, but they are planning on hosting 300 people! There will be a silent auction planned. Donations of high ticket value are being sought immediately. Specifically, they are looking for vacation getaways, hotel stays, etc., to begin.

Dear Friends of Gordon Elementary
As the Gordon Elementary PTA prepares for its 11th Annual Spring Fling auction, we want to say thank you to all the area businesses for your support. Each year we have looked to you to provide an item for auction, or a service, or a cash contribution and you have always been there for Gordon.
Your donations, of any kind, help the PTA sustain such programs as Passport Geography, Book Fairs, Young Authors an Young Writers Weeks. The PTA also provides assistance with field trips and school emergency preparedness.

(Port Orchard) – The Kitsap County Department of Community Development will be hosting a series of Rural Outreach meetings in March in order to collect public comments on upcoming proposed rural programs and regulations.

Tribute to Jennie Lund
Peninsula Services will hold their Annual Art Auction fundraiser on March 12, 2010 at their Gift Garden store, 327 Pacific Avenue, Bremerton. The public is invited and admission to the event is free.
This year's Art Auction is a tribute to Jennie Lund who passed away late 2009. Jennie served as President of the Peninsula Services' board for nine
years. She had a long career in education and as a champion of rights for individuals with disabilities.

Jeff Kelly, formerly of Computer Solutions KC, has joined the staff of Olympic Printer Resources, Inc. as a Computer/Network Specialist. Olympic Printer Resources who is known for remanufacturing quality printer, fax and copier cartridges in their Arbor Business Park facility off Bond Road in Kingston.The company has been providing computer and information technology (IT) support services since January 2008.

Time: 2:00PM-6:00PM
Begin at the Port Gamble Community Center. Enter into a game of mystery and intrigue in historic downtown Port Gamble. Help answer the question of what happened at Andrew Pope's house. Participants interview characters right out of 1850s Port Gamble in an effort to solve the mystery. Tickets are available through local businesses. Food and wine are included in the price of a ticket.
