Please mark your calendars for Saturday, Nov. 22nd to attend the Kingston High School Fine Arts Boosters Swing Dance and Auction, featuring the Buzz Whiteley Big Band and the KHS Jazz bands. This event supports all of the fine arts students at KHS, including drama, visual & media arts, band and choir. The event will run from 6:30pm-10:30pm in the Kingston High School commons. Heavy appetizers catered by Ellen’s Cakes & Catering will be served. There will be door prizes and raffles and a fabulous dessert auction. Some of the silent auction items available so far include; gardening tools, an 84 month Extreme battery from Les Schwab, a giclee print ( #2 of 500) from artist Terry Christensen, many gift certificates for a variety of services from lube & oil changes to massages & pedicures, a one-week stay at the Surfcrest Resort & Condos in Ocean Shores and a 400 sq. ft. concrete patio or driveway with broom, exposed, or random slate stamp finish, a $4600.00 value with a starting bid of $1600.00. Many donations are still coming in. Start your holiday shopping and support a great event at the same time! Tickets are $15.00 each for adults, $10.00 for military, seniors and students.
